The hotel offers a wonderful panorama view of Grimming, Totes Gebirge (dead mountains) and the glacier Dachstein. Winter: The ski run of our family ski area ends near our hotel which means that you can ski until our doorstep, if there is enough snow. Our hotel is a great location for ski holidays as it is in Bad Mitterndorf, in the ski area Tauplitz alp - one of the areas of Austria where snow can be guaranteed. The area can get up to 5 metres of snow and in March we normally still have around 3 metres snow. The 200 km loipe in Bad Mitterndorf, Ausseerland, is ideal for cross-country skiing for all levels of ability.
